I first found out about the Pest Offense electronic pest repeller when I was looking for a safe pest repellant to use around my dog and cats. I didn’t want to use one that contained poisons of any kind. Nor did I want to use a trap. See, at the time I was having problems with the neighborhood mice. They were having a blast on top of my closet running around and gnawing up a storm. I needed to find a safe way to get them out of my house.
So, I decided to try the Pest Offense electronic pest repeller. I liked how it said that it uses ultrasonic sounds in addition to electromagetic waves to repel the mice and other pests such as cockroaches, spiders, and ants.
What was the result?
I loved it. It worked for me. I had no more problems with mice or any other small critters running around above my closet. I didn’t hear a thing!
After using this item for several years now, here is a list of the pros and cons that I’ve found.
Keeps mice away.
I don’t have to worry about any animals dying somewhere in my house.
It takes a while to work. It took almost 2 weeks for the mice to go away.
It only works in outlets that have wires that travel to the areas where the mice are.
It can’t be used if you have hamsters and other rodents as pets.
For me, the pros outweighed the cons. I was okay waiting a couple weeks for the pests to react to the product. And I loved knowing that the mice are actually staying away from my house. I didn’t want animal droppings everywhere and I didn’t want to worry about one of them dying somewhere and the body decomposing and causing a stink. Can you imagine? I’d have to tear up a wall to get to the body. No way!
So for me, the product did the job. I had a mouse problem and I no longer do.
As to whether the product works for cockroaches and ants I can’t say. They weren’t a problem before, so I couldn’t tell whether it kept them away or not. As for spiders, it didn’t work for me. I saw spiders before and I still saw spiders after. Not very many spiders but I would see the occasional spider. So who knows, maybe the spiders were disoriented in my house and couldn’t find a way out so they ended up crawling everywhere. I don’t know.

Another quality of the product is how it has evolved into an all organic food.
Review on Evolution
The Blue Buffalo Company has first formulated its brand of dog food based on American Nutrition standards. It used several artificial chemicals to preserve its product. But soon after, it was placed in a dire situation when one of its products tested positive for melamine contamination. Studies showed that the chemical preservatives were major contributors in the contamination. The event prompted the company to issue a nationwide recall on its contaminated product. The company then focused its attention on research and development of ways to product a pet provision without the use of synthetic chemicals and preservatives. They arrived at the discovery of rosemary as an organic preservative. That discovery marked the birth of the first 100% organic canine food.
